Help with communication

If your young person does end up in court, the setting and language can be extremely upsetting and hard to understand.

If they have, or may have communication problems within a justice setting you can access help from Talking Trouble Aotearoa. They can support people with a Communication Assistant in Youth, District and High Courts, as well as Family Group Conferences, for witnesses or defendants who need assistance with understanding and participating in these settings.
