Chris is a huge asset to FASD-CAN as she comes with very significant business, entrepreneurial, governance and strategy experience – as well as having lived experience of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

She is a founding director of Te Potiki National Trust and Māori maps and was a school board member and chair of the primary school her chidlren attended. She is currently on the advisory board of two privately owned businesses. Chris is the mother of two teenagers and has first-hand appreciation of the challenges and joys of FASD. She is an experienced educator and researcher and is a Professor at the University of Auckland Business School. She has a very strong education background.
