This inquiry has changed the lives of many who have suffered historic abuse within the care systems which were supposed to keep them safe. FASD-CAN members have attended hui and continue to participate in this Abuse in care inquiry. Our representations have addressed the consequences of the lack of awareness and understanding of FASD has had on vulnerable children with FASD within the care system.
