At the FASD-CAN AGM on 9 November 2024, we launched FASD-CAN Life Membership and awarded it to four key women who have for many years put enormous effort into raising awareness and advocating for those with FASD in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

These were FASD-CAN founder Claire Gyde, Christine Rogan ONZN, Dr Valerie McGinn and our CEO Dr Leigh Henderson, .

We are enormously grateful to them and very proud to be associated with their exceptional ongoing work.
