Kia ora, I grew up in Papakura, riding horses with my three sisters, and I moved to Papaioea (Palmerston North) about 7 years ago. I am studying through Massey University to be a psychologist.
My journey learning about FASD began when my cousin was diagnosed with FASD about a decade ago. I have since worked for MASH Trust as a rangatahi support worker in a bespoke residential facility for rangatahi with FASD and for Whaioro Trust as an AoD counsellor. I am a research assistant for the Health Research Council at the University of Auckland.
I am passionate about raising awareness of FASD and finding ways to support individuals with FASD and their whanau. My main hobby is riding my horses, but I also enjoy watching movies, travelling, and meeting new people.
