In the media: 'The realities of raising children with FASD'

This article on Saturday May 11 highlights the stigmatisation, the struggle and the appalling lack of support that people with FASD and the whānau who care for them face every day.

We are advocating for the urgent FASD prevalence study in Aotearoa NZ which was promised by ex-Health Minister Shane Reti in 2024. Finding out how many people are affected by FASD around the motu will be the foundation of more awareness, less stigmatisation, funding and better outcomes for society in general.
