Kia orana, ko Kelly Archer ahau,
Ko Te Tai Tokerau me Rarotonga whenua tupu,
E ārahina ana au e Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa,
Nō ‘Avaiki nui ōku tīpuna.
I'm the youngest of four sisters and one little brother, and proudly identify as a bubbly, nature-loving, sustainability-focused, rainbow, neurodivergent, Pasifika fae.
In 2011, I experienced a traumatic brain injury which made the next few years particularly challenging, interrupting my Zoology and Marine Science degree at the University of Otago. But despite this, in 2024, I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), and have dedicated my mahi to supporting Rangatahi and Wāhine through homelessness services and Oranga Tamariki.
I'm passionate about self-liberation and helping people reconnect with their own power. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to exercise their own Rangatiratanga, no matter their background, challenges, or how their brain works.
Today, I'm the Tītoki Youth Development Kaiāwhina (Navigator) for FASD-CAN Aotearoa. I bring my professional expertise and lived experience into everything I do. These experiences allow me to connect with others in ways that are real, relatable and grounded in equity.
My purpose is to make sure young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to have their voices genuinely represented.
