Being part of a support group is proven to be very empowering for stressed caregivers – positive effects can include increasing emotional support, improving knowledge and reducing isolation.
We're in the process of growing our locally-based kanohi ki te kanohi / face to face support groups, but we know that for many of our caregivers, an online support group will be the easiest way to meet with others.
So, beginning on April 6, we're launching an online support group meeting once a month on a Thursday at lunchtime – 12.30-1.30pm. You can join our friendly and experienced facilitators whenever you like – we'd love to see you!
