Under the PPPR Act a property manager or property administrator is someone who is appointed by the Family Court to manage the property and finances of a person who is unable to do so themselves. This person is referred to as the ‘subject person’ in this law.
The main difference between the two roles relates to the size or amount of finances and assets (i.e. property) owned or received by the subject person. When dealing with small amounts of property, a Property Administrator would be appropriate, but when larger amounts of property are involved, a Property Manager would be needed.
