Hi I’m Ross Porter, I live in Auckland with my wife, Trish. Together we have a grown-up family, with some grandchildren now in the mix, too.
Since our youngest daughter was diagnosed with FASD, I’ve become involved with the FASD community, principally in Auckland. I served a short stint as Treasurer five years ago and have recently been elected onto the FASD-CAN board again.
I’ve been employed as Asset Manager at Urban Partners, a privately owned property investment company, for many years. I also serve on Vestry at Church of the Saviour in Blockhouse Bay. Recently I have also taken up the role of mentor for one of the students under the Staples Education Foundation.
In my spare time I enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and playing with the grandkids.
