Survey: What's the cost of FASD?

Dr Joanna Chu and a research team from the University of Auckland and the University of Otago are conducting a comprehensive survey to understand the cost of caring for someone with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

This important research seeks to understand the daily financial costs and psychosocial burdens experienced by adults who care for someone with FASD (and other alcohol-related conditions) in New Zealand. FASD-CAN strongly encourages our members to take the survey.

It will be used to advocate for increased support for carers of people with FASD and to increase understanding of the burden experienced by caregivers.

Criteria

• You must be the caregiver or parent of a person with FASD.

• You must be at least 18 years old to take part.

The survey will take 30-40 minutes to complete.

Survey participants who complete the survey will go in the draw to win one of ten $100 vouchers.
