RNZ article on the 13-year anniversary of Te Kooti o Timatanga Hou / The Court of New Beginnings, which writes off court costs for young offenders and helps them turn their lives around.

FASD-CAN Patron, Judge Tony Fitzgerald, presides monthly over the court. One graduate was amazed that Judge Fitzgerald came to visit him in hospital after a motorbike accident. 

Over 180 rangatahi have graduated from the Court since its inception.
